How we keep 1v1 video chat safe: live verification for every woman, moderators who review every report, and a report button that reaches a human.

Why this works

KiwiCam only works if both people are real and both cameras are on. Every rule below protects that. Follow one principle — treat the person in the other window as a person — and you will never need the rest of this page.

Verification is not decoration

Every woman completes a live camera check before her profile can go on air, and moderators review streams continuously. The face on the thumbnail is the face on the cam. If a stream ever feels pre-recorded or unresponsive, report it — that is precisely what the button exists for.

Consent, in both directions

Recording, screenshotting or re-broadcasting anyone on KiwiCam is banned. So is pressing someone to do something on camera they have not offered, and so is continuing after a no. Both sides can end a call instantly with Next; treat that as a normal ending rather than a rejection to argue with.

Lines that end an account

Anything involving someone under 18. Non-consensual recording or sharing. Threats, hate speech or sustained harassment. Impersonation. Fraud, including asking people to pay off-platform by gift card or bank transfer. Spam and advertising. Attempts to circumvent moderation or the age gate.

What earns a reply

A greeting that sounds like a person. A comment on what is actually happening on camera rather than a demand. Patience — women on KiwiCam are real people with real moods, and a genuine question gets answered far more often than a copied line.

Reporting and blocking

Skip, Block and Report sit inside every call. Blocking stops that person being matched with you again. Reports go to moderators and stay confidential — the other person is never told who reported them. For anything urgent, report in-app first and then email [email protected] so it is fast-tracked.

Keep it on the platform

Anyone pushing the conversation to another app, or asking for payment outside KiwiCam, is a scam risk. Off-platform payments cannot be protected, refunded or investigated by us. Conversation and payment both stay here.
