What KiwiCam collects, what we never share, and how your 1v1 video chat stays private — in plain language, not legalese.

The short version

KiwiCam is a two-person product. A private room means a private room: nobody else is watching, and nothing about the call is kept. Most of this policy is the detail behind that sentence.

What we collect

Browsing: you can look around KiwiCam without an account, and when you do, we hold the same technical data any website holds — IP address, device and browser type — because that is how a page gets delivered to you.

Matching: to chat, a lightweight account is created, holding a username and basic profile fields. We do not ask for your legal name, and there is no phone verification step before your first match.

Paying for extras: card details go to the payment providers, not to us. We see the result of the transaction and nothing more.

What we never do

We do not sell personal data, and we do not trade it for reach. We do not show your viewing history to the women you talk to or to other users. We do not record your calls: they run peer-to-peer over WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP encryption, and no video is written to our servers. When the call ends, there is nothing left on our side to find.

Verification data

Women on KiwiCam complete a live camera check before going on air. Those images exist so a human moderator can confirm that the person matches her profile — they are restricted to the moderation team, are never shown to users, and are not used for anything else.

Cookies and analytics

A handful of cookies keep you logged in and remember preferences such as language. We also use analytics to see which pages work, in aggregate rather than per person. You can block cookies in your browser; the site keeps working, though you may need to log in more often.

Your controls

You can use KiwiCam without an account, block or report anyone from inside a call, and delete your account whenever you like — deletion removes your profile data. To ask what is stored about you, or to have it corrected or erased, write to support and a person will answer.

Retention and security

Account data lives as long as the account does. Security and abuse logs are kept briefly, then discarded — long enough to investigate a report, not long enough to build a profile of you. There are no call recordings, because we never make them.

Age

KiwiCam is for adults only. You must be 18 or over, the site confirms this before entry, and an account that turns out to belong to a minor is removed.
