We built KiwiCam because video chat should match in under a minute — and never with a bot.
Why we exist
Roulette video chat turned into a game of bots, blank cameras and wasted spins. You click through ten strangers hoping one of them is real, and half the time the camera never even turns on. KiwiCam was built around a single idea instead: every match should be a real woman, verified live on cam, already online.
What we do differently
Three things, and they are all deliberate. 1v1 video chat that matches in under a minute, so you are not sitting in a queue. Live-photo verification for every woman before her profile can go on air. And private two-person rooms — no spectators, no audience, nobody watching over your shoulder.
That last point matters more than it sounds. A room with exactly two people in it is a different product from a public roulette wheel: people behave differently, and conversations go somewhere.
How verification works
Before a profile goes live, the woman completes a live camera check — she is asked to match a specific pose, and a human moderator reviews the result against her photos. It takes longer to onboard someone this way. That is the point: it is what keeps bots, recycled photo sets and pre-recorded loops out of your matches. Streams are then monitored by human moderators.
Free to start, always
There is no per-minute meter. You can look around, see who is online and start a match without paying anything. Private rooms, tips and gifts exist for people who want more, and every one of them shows its price before you confirm it — nothing starts charging quietly in the background.
Privacy inside a call
Calls run peer-to-peer over WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP encryption, and we do not record them. Your viewing history is not shown to the women you talk to, or to anyone else on the platform. When a room closes, it closes. The detail is in our privacy policy.
